Benton Greene is an award-winning actor, an educator and career martial artist.
He has had the good fortune to collaborate and be influenced by visionary artists in his career, working on stage productions with icons such as Lynn Nottage, Bill T. Jones and Suzan-Lori Parks and feature films with Tilda Swinton and Allen Hughes.
His martial arts training in Wing Chun is in the direct lineage of Bruce Lee's teacher Ip Man. Greene has deepened that training by studying meditative arts, receiving a scholarship to train with the monastics in Meditation Facilitation at Thich Nhat Hanh's Deer Park Monastery .
This Brooklyn born son of Jamaican and Barbadian parents works out of New York and has been an active member of the Harlem arts community since 2001.
